Consciousness is the greatest freedom we hold; original thoughts liberate the stories we’re told. It breaks us away from the destructive, blind ego, Separates us from the chains where the lost souls go. It brings down the walls of conditioned behavior, Tearing down conformity, looking for a savior.
I put my thoughts only in You,
My mind is anchored in Your truth.
Because the conscious mind flows from what it is fed, it’s the gatekeeper of the paths that we tread. It’s the gateway to the soul, the choice to believe, the power to adapt, to forgive, and grieve. In freedom, we transcend to a higher place, breaking the chains in a moment of grace.
We have the power to choose what we follow – to end self-inflicted pain and the voids that feel hollow. To seek after peace, to let the heart mend, But when freedom is lost, the soul meets an end. Hope disappears into the dark of the night, And we break the line to the One Divine Light.
